Shearing images

You can shear images using the Shear Transform node. This node can also perform other transforms at the same time: it can move the image E/W and N/S, rotate it, and scale it independently in the horizontal and vertical directions. It is similar to a Transform node with the added capability of shearing.

It appears in the XSheet like this:

• The E/W and N/S columns set the node's E/W and N/S moves.

• The Angle column sets an angle of rotation about the centre of its field chart.

• The X Scale and Y Scale columns set scale factors; scaling occurs about the centre of the image's field chart.

• The Shear column sets the angle of shear. Shearing takes place about the horizontal line through the centre of the image's field chart.
